Donald Raymond David, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents David and Adele David, his brother Raymond Joseph David, his son Donald Raymond David, Jr, and his granddaughter Kathryn Anne David. He is survived by his wife Celeste David; daughter, Dia David and son David David (Athena); grandchildren Kiersten Adele David and Dylan Donald David. He is also survived by his sister Susan David Willis (Charley) and nieces and nephews and a host of extended family. Donald was born on November 8, 1937, in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Birmingham, AL in the Lebanese community and was a member of St. George Melkite Catholic Church. He graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School, attended Auburn University ,and served in the Air Force. He spent his whole life working in the tire business, with David Tire and later owned Warehouse/Surplus Tire. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking Lebanese food, and spending time in Seagrove Beach. He attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Visitation is from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M.
