Dec. 6, 1926-Oct. 14, 2014 Fay Baxley Antwine Shirley was born to Kearney and Jeannette Baxley December 6, 1926 in Birmingham, Alabama. She passed away October 14, 2014 at the age of 87. Mrs. Shirley was an active participant in the Republican Women of the South, Women's Committee of 100, American Needlepoint Guild, and a lifelong member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her sister Jeanne Antwine McMahan and brother Harold Melvin Antwine, Jr. Mrs. Shirley is survived by her daughters Candace Shirley Lee (Ernest) and Patricia Shirley Markow (John), grandchildren Ernest Colvin Lee, Jr. (Danielle), Sheridan Lee Scruggs (Clay), Kathryn Lee Lowder (Josh), Ashley Vaughan Thompson (Mike), Elizabeth Alexandra Hall, and Christopher Britton Hall and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1-2pm Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Rideout's Valley Chapel in Homewood with a 2pm service to follow. Arrangements under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel, Homewood, AL.
