Frankie Goode Charlton

CHARLTON, FRANKIE GOODE passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Frankie was born in Gadsden, Alabama on January 2, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Frank Goode and Della Wright Goode. Frankie was married to Eddie Lee Charlton of Jacksonville, FL, deceased, and was the sister of Robert Goode and Richard Goode, both deceased and the mother of Donald G. Charlton. She was 89 years "young". She was a wonderful, loving grandmother to Christian M . Charlton, Elizabeth Charlton Heger (Bobby) and Jonathan R. Charlton and great grandmother to Campbell Anne and Kyle Heger. She was an active member in Dawson Memorial Baptist Church and her much loved bible study group. Frankie was one of the most fun loving, generous people you would ever have the pleasure to meet and she will be greatly missed by friends and family. The family would like to give a special thank you to her amazing care givers Suzette, Lorraine, Valerie, Cathy and Z. Also a special thank you to her pastor Bill Johnston and his wife Janet for the love and care they have shown to her in the past few years. Most of all the family is forever grateful to Alyson and Eric Anderton, who brought new meaning to the word "neighbors" with the love, care and deep friendship they had with Frankie. A memorial service will be held at Ridout's Valley Chapel on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 3:00 PM.
