Gail Frances Lowery Hendon

Mrs. Gail Frances Lowery Hendon, age 82 of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, the 6th of May 2020. Born on the 16th of July, 1937, Gail was the daughter of Robert Lowery and Letha Mae Rye Lowery. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Phillip Lowery and Mark Lowery; and one daughter, Patricia Hendon Mangina.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Hendon Morgan; two sons, James Hendon, Jr. and Wade Hendon (Donna); brother, Ronald Lowery; six grandchildren, Melissa Mangina, Andrea Mangina, Holly Hendon Oldham (Charles), Jake Hendon, Heather Hendon, and Lillie Abigail Hendon. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren, Zachary Schrecongost, Aubrey Mangina, Olivia Oldham, and Evelyn Oldham.

The family cordially invites friends to the visitation being held on Tuesday, the 12th of May, from four o'clock in the afternoon until six o'clock in the evening at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood. Funeral services will commence at two o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 13th of May at Ridout's Valley Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. The committal service will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
