WILLIAMSON, HELEN age 95, of Hoover, AL, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose Sabo; her brother, Joseph W. Sabo and her sister, Margaret McKinney. Survivors are daughters, Barbara Holmes of Daphne, AL; Joan Strickland of Woodstock, GA and Karen Thorne of Hoover, AL. Sisters Barbara Williams of Needham, MA and Rose Marie Murphy of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren. Helen retired from the City of Mobile after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover, Al. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary #7484 there. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church at 1:00. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, suggested memorials are St. Peter the Apostle Poor Box or the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
