Jane McCreery Johnson, a resident of Vestavia Hills AL, passed this life June 28, 2018. She attended Auburn University, where she was a Chi Omega. Jane was married to the late Glenn Thomas Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents M'Belle Mead McCreery and Thomas W. McCreery, and her brother Thomas W. McCreery, Jr. She is survived by her son Michael Glenn Johnson of Birmingham, daughter Susan Jane Lovelady
( Joseph ) of Daphne; grandchildren Clayton Thomas Lovelady ( Anita) of Fairhope, Ellen Leigh Lovelady of Atlanta, and Eric Thomas Johnson of Auburn; great-grandchildren Joseph Thomas Lovelady, Benjamin Smith Lovelady, and Sarah Louise Lovelady; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church, Rutledge Chapel Monday July 2 from 11am to 12, followed by a memorial service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church, Tyson Hall renovation fund, 2061 Kentucky Ave, Vestavia, AL 35216.
