Janice Davis Ralston, age 60, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019. Janice, born in Birmingham on August 30, 1959 to Rayford and Jone Davis, was a 1977 graduate of Shades Valley High School and 1981 graduate of The University of Alabama. She married Bob Ralston on July 18, 1981 in Birmingham and shortly after began work as an accountant at Alabama Power Company where she proudly served for 37 years before retiring in April 2019. Jan lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her parents; her husband, Bob; her children Samantha Ralston Holloway and Christopher; her three grandchildren, Jackson and Mackenzie Holloway, and Cole Ralston; and her siblings, Patricia Reynolds, Tom and Steve Davis.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel at Hunter Street Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
