
Jennifer was a native of Gadsden, Alabama and a former resident of London, England and Paris, France. She was a graduate of Gadsden High School, the University of Alabama, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and was accepted to London University for graduate work before leaving London and moving to Paris.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Doris Edwards, and her brother,
Tourney Edwards. She is survived by her devoted husband, Wade Reich, beloved daughter, Paden Reich and partner Meredith Butcher, beloved son, Eakin Reich, brother, Taylor Edwards, and sister- in-law, Carole Edwards.
A dedicated teacher, Jennifer taught Art and English at The International School in Paris for many years and after her return to Birmingham, Alabama, continued her career as an English teacher in the Hoover School system. In Paris, she was a member of the American Cathedral where she served on the Jr. Guild and the Altar Guild. In Birmingham, she was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Advent and served on the Altar Guild.
A memorial service to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 29, at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Birmingham, Alabama. Visitation will follow in the Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sullivan Survivorship Program, in care of O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB, 1720 Second Avenue S., WTI 210, Birmingham, AL 35294.
