Jerry loved playing video games with the kids, planning the family Disney trips and just being home doing nothing with his family. Baseball games were his favorite past time. His favorite story was telling how his boys busted his wood bat, that he had for over 30 years, playing a game of family baseball. His family came first.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father Jerry W. Bagwell, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife Dawn Bagwell (affectionately called “moon pie”), his sons: Jerry W. Bagwell, III and Brent A. Bagwell (Kristen “Breadstick”), his grandchildren: Aiden Moncrief and Jubilee Bagwell, his mother Janice Kay Lewis Bagwell, his sister Anita Bagwell (Brent Smith) and a host of nieces and nephews. We will miss your humor, laughter, hugs and kisses.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25th at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood beginning at 1:00 pm with a memorial service following at 2:00 pm.
