

Judith Anne Davis Kidd, age 86, died December 18, 2025 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born on October 15, 1939 in Tuskegee Alabama. She was 1 of 2 children of the late Lonnie Pierce Davis, Sr. and Ethel Ruth Wear Davis. Her family moved early in life to Opelika, Alabama where she lived until she was married and moved to Birmingham. She attended Opelika High School where she was the Freshman Class President. After high school, she attended Auburn University (Alabama Polytechnic Institute) but soon met and married the love of her life, Earl Murray Kidd and became a "mom" in 1961 to four girls which would be her occupation until her death. In addition to being a mom she had a passion for interior decorating and cooking and was excellent at both. She also had a passion for Auburn football, always cheering on her team!
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl Murray Kidd, and her brother, Lonnie Pierce Davis Jr. She is survived by her four daughters, Kelly (Charles) Mayfield, Kristin (William) Deloach, Scottie Kidd and Anne (Mason)Fischer; ten grandchildren, Graham (Jennifer) Wilkinson, Scott Wilkinson, Collin (Katerina) Metcalf, Paxton (Sabrina) Metcalf, Madison (Dylan) Basford, Shelby (Erik) Wilson, Rob (Madison) Swindle, Pierce Swindle, Christian Fischer and John Fischer and her-eight great grandchildren, Laine Wikinson, Marvin Metcalf, Lewis Metcalf, Davis Metcalf, Lily Wilson, Ivy Wilson, Lucy Swindle, and Alice Swindle
A private family memorial service will be held at Canterbury United Methodist Church.
