

April 17, 1932 –March 8, 2015
Pat Spivey passed away peacefully at home in the year of our Lord March 8, 2015. Her body gave out on her, but her mind was sharp. She was ready to see her GOD and now is in no pain.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Spivey, her mother Cornelia Ellis Holzman, and her fathers James Ellis and Joe Holzman.
Pat is survived by her brother Robert Ellis and wife Betty, nephews Rob and wife Pam, Jimmy and Cindy Ellis, children, Linda Joe Spivey and husband Kenny Hankins; Ken Spivey, Jr. and wife Sylvia Spivey, Grandchildren, Kerri and husband Jody Grady, Jamie Hankins, Kennen Spivey III and Cameron Spivey and wife Kala, and Great Grandchildren, Rowan and Aiden Grady. Adopted children and angles that cared for her in her final days included Alicia Britton, Linda and LaPorscia Core and Tawana Murphy.
Pat loved her family, friends, (Babe, Bear, Baby and Scooter- her dogs), Alabama Football, reading books, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, telling jokes, the beach, NCIS a distant love affair with Mark Harmon, the movie Gone With the Wind, Blue Bell Chocolate-Covered Cherry ice cream and enjoying everything life had to offer. She was a Masters Bridge Player and Member of the Roebuck Elks Lodge 2123.
All who knew her will miss her, and if she had any final words, it would be ROLL TIDE!
She had a saying, “Me Too” which meant, “I love you”…so from family and friends we want to say to Pat, our Mom and Mamama…Me Too.
Memorial Services will be held at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood, Alabama at 11:00 am on Saturday March 14, 2015, followed by a Celebration of Life Luncheon at the Roebuck Elks Lodge at 12:30.
