We are sad to mark the passing of our brilliant Tammy; cherished daughter, sister and mother. She is a unique and exquisite soul. Our kin not only in blood but heart. Her family was very blessed to have walked and laughed on this earth together with her for the time we shared.
She is predeceased by her loving father, William Lamarr Love. She will be deeply missed by her close-knit family; mother Iris Croll Love, sister Kelly Suzanne Love and husband Richard Joseph Pannell, her treasured children Brian Matthew Williams, Sarah Grace Butler and husband Tait Ryan Butler. Her legacy is her delightful grandchild, Oliver Ryan Butler.
Tammy attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham where she was conveyed honors with B.A and M.A. degrees in Elementary Education. A little sister for Tau Kappa Epsilon, she enjoyed her education with her trademark enthusiasm, both the academic and social aspects. She was a beloved public school teacher for twenty-three years in Jefferson County Schools.
Tammy was devoted to family, loved her rescue animals, enjoyed travelling, spending time at the beach, designing and crafting jewelry, and playing practical jokes. She had an innocent wonder for the joys of living that was contagious and heartening. Her spirit will live on in the light and laughter she so generously gave to all who were fortunate to know her.
The family held a private ceremony.
The family requests donations to be made in lieu of flowers in her memorial to:
