Vivian Harper Howard, (76) born May 26, 1941, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, May 26, 2017, her birthday. She was a true Christian. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, William Leroy and Ora Jeanelle Harper and her brother, William Leroy Harper, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Calvin M. Howard, her daughters Beth Howard (Brooks) Yeilding, Becky Howard (George) Allen and Brooke Howard (Darrell) Gibson, and grandchildren Jared and Jake Fuqua, Reid and Harper Allen, Shae and Hannah Gibson and Farrah Karimi, all of whom loved her dearly. She was an active member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, The American Sewing Guild and other activities. A memorial service will be held at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 30th at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a private family burial service at Lawley's Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Dawson Preschool Ministry.
