COMBS, Alex B. 71 of Lecanto, Fl. passed away December 13, 2012 at Home. A native of Hazard, Ky. he came to the area this past year. Mr. Combs retired from General Motors and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Linda; 4 sons, Ricky Combs, Ronald Combs, David Combs and Richard Henson; 5 daughters Cynthia Davis, Dortha Ward, April Stubb, Gidget Hensley and Melissa Collins; 4 brothers Adrian Combs, Alvery Combs, Omer Combs and Thomas Combs; 1 sister Patsy Moore; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Wilder Funeral Home Monday at 10 AM with interment to follow at 12:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4 until 6 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org/donate in memory of Alex.
