Anthony C. Ballard

Anthony C. "Tony" Ballard, 43, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at his home. A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Mr. Ballard was born July 10, 1972 to Charles and Gayle (Peterson) Ballard and lived most of his life in Citrus County. Tony was a framer in the construction industry by profession. He is survived by his wife of over three years, Renee R. Ballard, Homosassa; father Charles "Mack" Ballard (wife Lynn) Crystal River, Florida and mother Gayle Barnard (husband Ron) Kansas City, Missouri; mother-in-law Kim DiMarco, Inglis, FL; daughter Marisa Ballard, Kansas City, Missouri; stepdaughters Tabitha and Hailey Morgan, both of Homosassa and stepson Gage Bevington, Beverly Hills, Florida; brother Nick Ballard (wife Shanda), St. Petersburg, Florida; stepbrother Roswell "Skeeter" Zoda, St. Petersburg, Florida and stepsister Arsula Olbek, Lecanto, Florida; brothers-in-law Lukas Rich and Adam Ross, both of Inglis, Florida as well as a niece, Ava and a nephew, Ren. A celebration of Tony's life will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, Florida. www.wilderfuneral.com
