Barry Lee Wagner, 79, of Crystal River, FL, passed away on Sat., May 23, 2026 at Ocala Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala, FL. A native of Belleville, PA., Barry was born March 4, 1947 to Richard C. and Jeanne L. (Stuck) Wagner, one of four children. Barry honorably and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1969. He attended Mount Vernon Nazarene College in Ohio, then earned his degree from Seminary and began enjoying a decades long ministry in the Assembly of God Church. He served as Associate Pastor at churches in Woodbridge, VA and Brandon, FL. His ministry continued as Senior Pastor for church families in Mount Vernon, OH, Lake Mary, FL, Pensacola, FL and Chuluota, FL. Pastor Wagner was also deeply rooted for 23 years in Ezra International, an organization responsible for helping Jewish people out of the former Soviet Union and other places; returning them home to their homeland of Israel. Barry loved classic cars and purchased several of them. He very much enjoyed taking his cars to Old Town in Kissimmee, FL, spending the evening with his family and showing off his latest pride and joy. A major reason for moving to Crystal River seven months ago from Blairsville, GA was that Barry loved saltwater and deep sea fishing. Pastor Wagner also loved to travel; he and his beloved wife Linda experienced around 35 vacation cruises. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ercil and Gertrude Robinson. Barry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Linda Carrol Wagner, Crystal River, FL; sons Barry M. Wagner (wife Carrie), Sorrento, FL and Bryan T. Wagner, Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren Ashley Reid and Austin, Aiden and Aaron, all from Sorrento, FL; Krystin Gariner (husband Joe), Colorado and Joshua and Bryan Christopher, both of Missouri; great grandchildren Leilani Cory, Braylee Gariner, Makenna Gariner, Alyssa Gariner, all of Colorado, as well as Aria Bogart and Alexandra Bogart, both of Missouri; brothers Rev.
