

Clarence "Butch" Howard, 73, of Crystal River, Florida, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Crystal River Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Jackson, Kentucky, he was born December 14, 1944 to Quillen and Elsie (Haddix) Howard, one of six children. Butch, as he was known to many, moved here as a child in 1963 and was a lifelong resident of Citrus County. He was a carpenter by profession and had once been employed by Deem Cabinets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sandra (Saunders) Howard and an infant brother. Butch is survived by his four daughters Jennifer McDaigle (Nicole), Stephanie Brussell (Eric), Syble Smyka (David) and Melissa Westfall; siblings Pauline H. Russ (Lance), Linda H. Russ (Robert), John Raymond Howard (Karen) and Quillen Howard Jr. (Renee); grandchildren Ethan, J.P., Alden, Damien, Alexis, Quillen and Stella and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received on Tues., July 31, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, Florida with burial to follow at Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa, Florida.
