Dee is a very special person that touched many lives. She had a purpose and was a friend to everyone. Dee inspired me as well as many others and I will always remember the Sparkling days and times I had the privilage of sharing with her. R.I.P.

Dee was such a fun person, she always lit up the room. Every time I bake Christmas cookies or see Santa I will think of her.

Dee made the world a better place. Her amazing joy for life, kindness, and warm heart were wonderful. I was lucky to get to know her and will miss her. My deepest sympathy for the loss of this special woman. Love, Katie

Dee was truly a unique friend and lady. She was there for me when I needed help getting to church after an operation on my foot.  Since we both lived in Sugarmill Woods, if either needed a ride to work or church we helped each other. She will be missed by family & friends due to being such a caring person. GOD bless her and I'll keep her in my prayers.

Dear Bill and Family, words cannot express the loss you must be feeling, I was fortunate to meet Dee only a few months ago, but she was such a strong and determined women, who loved life and her family and I will carry that  with me always, knowing God has gained a special person in heaven and she will be our beautiful angel watching over us.

Every word written echoes and resonates my own.  It's the family and friends that I grieve for now knowing the void they have without Dee.  She was right, life is not fair.  Dee gave everyone that knew her the opportunity to know love and to be loved.  From the day I met her she came to me, if that makes sense. Dee had many wonderful attributes, too numerous to list, but the ones that stick out the most from knowing her, loving her as a friend and from looking through all of the pictures, is that you come away with the fact that she had a love of life, made everyone feel welcome, cared for and loved family and friends deeply, especially loved children and loved making wonderful memories with everyone...Dee was all about making wonderful memories to last a lifetime.....That was her legacy!...And she did....And she will be missed so!

My heart aches for your family. What a Blessing Dee was to many of us. God DEFINITELY has a Sparkling Angel in the Heavens above - With her sassy red lip stick and nail polish. She knew exactly when you needed a Hug....I will miss her contagious smile and laughter. She loved her family so very much!! She loved this time of year so much. My prayers are with all of you. Such a speical lady who innocently walked into my life and welcomed me with open arms. I miss our nightly "good night" texts. Dear Bill and family, I have loved Dee from the day i met her.In the last 10 years she has shown me love and kindness in a way that has left me a better person.With every act of kindness I commit or have bestowed upon me I think of her and realize that is her legacy.I am astounded at the enormity of the loss I feel.I read a poem the other day that I think Dee lead me to, the last line said "Love never dies, people do, so when all thats left of me is love, give it away". I met Dee several years ago, but we truly became friends this summer.   I commented to my family this past August..."Dee is AMAZING" We had long talks about our cancer, our fears, our hopes, our family, our questions.  I truly loved her and looked forward to our talks.  She inspired, encouraged, and taught me many things.  I will always love her.

Mom there are no words that can fully explain what my heart feels mourning your passing. I get lost in all the memories you have created in our lifetime. I hold deep in my heart your love and kindness that you have not only given all of us but have taught us as well, along with all of our life lessons that made us all the people we are today. I know you take with you the love that you have shared with Bill, family and friends throughout your journey and that same love we hold here will keep your spirit and memory alive forever. I miss you more and more everyday and will love you for eternity. RIP

I didn't know Dee. I know her son Dave. So, you see, I do know something about her. What I know about Dee is that she was kind to others - not just people she knew but to strangers as well - even extras who are talking at the wrong time or don't understand instructions, or a PA who is trying hard but just doesn't get it. It's this type of kindness that matters and was passed on to her son. She must have been a very nice person.

Dear Bill and Family, words cannot really express the sorrow that we all feel in Dee's passing.  She was the light that lit up your heart. From the moment she meet you, you were under her wing, her compassion, love and understanding never wavering, she was a true friend and is now an angel by God's side.  We love you Dee and will miss you greatly.

We mourn the passing of our Mother, Dee. But we celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared. She was loved by and loved her husband Bill. She was loved by and loved her children Kathi, Dave, Kurt, Ken, Mike, Bill and Michael. She was loved by and loved her son in law Glen and daughters in law Nancy, Kirsten, Mary and Desi. She was loved by and loved her grandchildren Shelby, Daniel, Catie, Emily, Destini, MJ, Kurt and Alden.
