Doris J. Hamilton

Doris J. Hamilton, 76, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Mon., Aug. 5, 2013 at HPH Hospice in Lecanto, FL. A native of La Crosse, WI, she was born June 27, 1937 to Carl and Lucille (Bartlett) Bugbee, one of five children. A lifelong homemaker, Doris came to Homosassa in 1973 from South Bend, Indiana and was a member of the D.A.V.A. and the First Baptist Church of Chassahowitzka. She loved God, life, family and friends. Doris is survived by her daughters: Jodine Nichols of Homosassa; Linda McKenzie (Paul), Crystal River, FL and Connie Johnson (Doug), Naples, FL; sons Fred Hamilton (Debbie), Homosassa and Glenn Hamilton (Debbie), Cedar Lake, IN; sister Laura Ellis (Gary, Edwardsburg, MI; brothers Jim Bugbee (Ann) Eau Claire, WI; Jerry Bugbee, Lecanto, FL and Dave Bugbee (Becky), Crystal River, FL; 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband Charles (2003) and three sons, Joseph and Michael Banaszak and Greg Hamilton. A memorial service will be held on Mon., Aug. 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL.
