

Frank Maginn, 57, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Wed., Jan. 27, 2016 at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River, FL. A native of Delaware County, PA, he was born May 14, 1958 to Frank Sr. and Dorothy (Lewis) Maginn, one of five children. Mr. Maginn moved to Homosassa ten years ago from Glenolden, PA and was a 15 year employee of Flowserve, Inc. of Beckett, NJ, where he repaired and built pump mechanical seals. A man of many talents in his professional life, he was also a roofer and paver, as well as an avid landscaper. He served on both the Social Club and Board of Directors of Walden Woods and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer and also collected pet food for Pets on Wheels. Frank was an avid supporter of Bay Area Greyhounds and was a proud greyhound rescuer and owner. He loved to have regular game nights with his family and loved to especially play cards. Mr. Maginn was active member of First Christian Church of Chassahowitzka, where he had recently been elected a Deacon. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Beth Maginn, Homosassa; son Frank Maginn, III (wife Jessie), Toms River, NJ; daughters Danielle Maginn of New Jersey and Gina Maginn (partner Eric Miller), Cape May, NJ; sisters Cathy Ewing (husband Tubby), Homosassa and Dot Szegda (husband Nick), New Smyrna Beach, FL; brother Ed Maginn, Seacane, PA; brothers-in-law Paul Rucci (wife Ginny), Millsboro, DE and Ken Rucci, Clifton Heights, PA; grandchildren Billy, Danica and Milania and many nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved dog, Chatty. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Boros. Friends will be received on Thurs., Feb. 4, 2016 at Wilder Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M., where a celebration of Frank’s life will take place at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor David Ellis officiating.
