

Fred J. Ullman passed away at HPH Hospice in Brooksville on April 30, 2011. Born Oct. 3, 1931 in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was raised in Rochester, NY. He attended Manlius Academy before entering the US Marine Corps in 1951 and served in the Korean War.
Fred attended Syracuse University and graduated from the University of Miami in 1959. He taught in the public school system in the West Palm Beach area until 1972. He moved to Atlanta, GA and was involved in retail sales and real estate holdings. Fred moved to Sugarmill Woods in 1999. Fred was an excellent equestrian and a member of the North American Trail Ride Conference.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Louise and 3 children; David Devine (Sandra), San Diego, CA, Patricia Devine Harms (Steve), Montclair, NJ and Robert Devine (Miriam Yarmolinsky), Silver Springs, MD; two grandchildren Julia Devine, Colorado Springs, CO and Daniel Devine (Jamie), Ft. Collins, CO and two great-grandchildren.
A private Mass Celebrated by Rev. Monsignor Frank Guista of Atlanta, GA with burial following at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL will be held at a later date.
