Guadalupe Garces "Lupita" Rodriguez

Guadalupe Garces "Lupita" Rodriguez, 46, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Wed., March 20, 2024 at her home. Lupita, as she was known to many, was born to Olivia Rodriguez in Elgin, IL on March 4, 1978, and was later adopted by William and Ruth Salas. She moved to Homosassa five years ago from Winter Haven, FL, and was a former resident of Holland, MI. She was a graduate of Zeeland High School in Zeeland, MI and then attended Southwestern Assemblies of God School in Texas. Lupita was a proud recently ordained minister from LCU at the Christian Center Church in Homosassa, where she led worship services. Miss Rodriguez was an accomplished and gifted singer and pianist, which had led her to ministering and preaching in Florida and Michigan during her life. Lupita also was an accounting manager for Botkeeper, Inc. and also owned her own accounting firm, AdminInnovacion. Miss Rodriguez is survived by her mother, Olivia Rodriguez; her parents, William Salas and Ruth Perez-Salas of Holland, MI; siblings Jessica Rodriguez, Grand Rapids, MI; Jose Perez (Jennifer), New Port Richey, FL; Carolina Hernandez, Fort Worth, TX and Stacey Ouzts (James), Holland, MI. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Northpoint Assembly of God in Holland, Michigan.
