James E. Branham

James Edward Branham, 85 of Lecanto, FL died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 at Hospice House of Citrus County in Lecanto. Born Oct. 8, 1925 in Ayers, KY, he moved to this area in 1983 from Detroit, MI. Jim retired from the Michigan Consolidated Gas Company as General Store Keeper. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of the Gulf To Lake Church of Crystal River and VFW Post No 2107 of Dearborn, MI.

In addition to his parents Memory and Lora (Meadors) Branham he was preceded in death by his first wife Genevieve A. Branham

Jim was a devoted husband, amazing father and friend.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary Branham of Lecanto; daughters Lori (Mark) Ammons of Palm Harbor, FL and Nancy (Ralph) Zachry of Riverview, FL; grandsons Sean Carson and Garrett Zachry; granddaughter Tara Zachry and brother Jerry Branham.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at Gulf To Lake Church, 1454 N. Gulf Ave., Crystal River with Pastor Lloyd Bertine officiating. Donations may be given to Hospice of Citrus County or Gulf To Lake Church in memory of Jim. Wilder Funeral Home assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
