My grandma's name was so fitting as she truly was a jewel that shined her love to literally everyone that knew her. She had the sweetest way about her, you simply could not know her and not love her. She was so selfless and genuinely cared and worried about us all, praying every day for our well being and safety. We were truly blessed to have her as an angel on earth and now an angel in heaven. For all that knew this beautiful lady she will be missed.  She never spoke an unkind word about anyone, always caring and smiling.  Our whole family have fond memories of being neighbors, the baseball games we played together, hide-n-seek, just having fun in the neighborhood.  We remember our mothers talking over the fence and picking the honey suckle vine off the fence while they talked.  What a precious lady.  May God comfort each of you.  We can all meet her again in heaven if we accept the most precious gift that God gave us, His Son, just as Jewell did.  We love all of you!!!   The Salley Family of Dayton, Ohio.

What can I say about an Aunt that, even though its been years since seeing her, I've never forgotten what a fine woman she was. The pictures shared, are the same as I remember her,,  smiling. . always a kind and warm hearted and family loving lady.  Thru new technology,  our families were brought together and thru being reconnected,  was able to share a phone conversation, , her  warm caring voice will forever live in my memory.  May Aunt (Judy) Jewell, rest in peace and in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sending love to her family.

This amazing beautiful woman was my grandma. I am Wanda Raye's oldest daughter. Grandma was always so loving and kind I think she was made of sugar and rainbows. I remember her taking the time to teach us the proper way to peel potatoes, wash dishes, pick berries, and make oatmeal with butter and brown sugar.  She is the one who taught me its much better eaten on toast. Through the years and the growth of our family she remembered every birthday. Getting the hand signed card from her was the highlight of my year. I know she will always be part of me and I know she lives on in all of us. If I can be half the mother my mom is and half the grandma she was then my kids and grandkids will be happy and know they are truly loved. I love you grandma. It was a true honor to be number 2 of your 51 grand children. RIP. 💙🌸💙🌸Give grandpa, Devin,  and Jordan hugs for me please. ❤

Thank you for always being nice to me when I was at your house.  Good menories with your children too, (Donna Sue & George).  RIH,  dear lady. ❤

Our Mother was the best Mother and friend anyone could ask for. She would always go out of her way to help others. She lived within walking distance to her church but would drive as far as needed to pick someone else up so they could go to Church Sunday morning. Everyone she knew that got sick or put in nursing homes, she visited them, she made them feel loved and cared for.  
        Thank you Pastor Michael Chambliss for being there for my Mom when she needed you to be. Thank you Dale Benefield for being her friend and visiting her,  Thank you to all of her Church family who came to see her in her last days, Thank you Clyde Lowe for always being there for her and checking on her.  A very special Thank you to my sister Judy for taking care of Mom.  It means more to me than you know. To Mom, I love you and will miss you so much.

Jewell is my mother and she loved her family more than words can say. My heart is broken and I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace mommy!
