Kenneth E. Stark, Sr.

Kenneth E. Stark, Sr., 67, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017 at his home. A native of St. Louis, MO, he was born Nov. 8, 1949 to Wilbur Lee and Jacqueline (Pick) Stark, one of eight children. Mr. Stark served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era and was a talented and gifted carpenter all of his life. He moved to Homosassa 39 years ago from his native St. Louis and his career in Citrus County included positions with H & H Frame and Trim, John Flynn Contractors, and Richardson Drywall and Plaster, all of Citrus County. Ken is survived by his loving wife Karen J. Stark of Homosassa, with whom he would have shared 46 years of marriage on Jan 2nd; four children: Kenny Stark, Jr. (wife Ashlee), Homosassa, FL; Butch Stark (wife Karen), Dunnellon, FL; Tania Davis (husband Horace), Homosassa, FL and “bonus daughter” Cyenne Bull (husband Jon), Wimauma, FL; siblings Richard and Stephen Stark, both of St. Louis, MO; Carolyn Gibson, Perryville, MO; Wilbur Stark, Springfield, MO and Pam Seela, Jasper, MO and grandchildren Kendal, Brittany, Kaylynne, Colbi, Jorden, Jayden, Augusta and Payton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stark was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Stark, in 1995, and brothers Donald and Johnny Stark. Friends will be received on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, where a celebration of life will take place at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Fountains Memorial Park.
