2012 at Hospice House of Citrus County in Lecanto, Florida. He was born in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of the late Gottlieb and Edna Frey. He was a chemist
for Cooper Power Systems and moved to Homosassa from Hales Corners, Wisconsin 21
years ago. Raymond was a Christian, Army Veteran of WWII, and enjoyed gardening,
bike riding, and reading. For years he served on various church boards, taught
adult Bible classes and enjoyed helping his grandsons with math. Bringing
happiness to his family was a blessing to him.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Marlene Frey of Homosassa; sons Todd Frey
of Franklin, Wisconsin, Kim Frey (and wife Christina) of West Palm Beach,
Florida, and Craig Meissler (and wife Nia) of San Antonio, Texas; daughters
Leslie Nienow (and husband Lester) of Franklin, Tennessee, and Julie Hopp (and
husband Paul) Round Rock, Texas, and 11 grandchildren. Donations in memory of
