Robert Wesley Bellows

Robert W. Bellows, 80, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Thurs., Jan. 25, 2018 at Crystal River Health and Rehab Center in Crystal River, FL. A native of New York, NY, he was born Dec. 7, 1937 to Robert E. and Florence (Dickson) Bellows, one of three children. Bob, as he was known to many, served his country proudly and honorably in the United States Navy and in his professional working life was a buyer for Roman’s Mail Order Co., a position from which he retired in 1983. Mr. Bellows was a proud NRA member and is survived by four children: Scott Bellows (wife Donna), Chester, NJ; Brian Bellows (wife Pam), Parsippany, NJ; Kirsten Mihok (husband Steven) and Janine Zanios (husband Chris), both of Spring Hill, FL; fiance Janet Dixon, Homosassa, FL; sister Carol Demarinis (husband Pat), Tampa, FL; former wife and mother of his children Marcia Bellows-Brown, Brooksville, FL and also seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Bellows; and a brother, Donald Bellows. A graveside service with United States Navy Military Honors will be held on Mon., Feb. 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. from Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL.
