Fred "Buddy" Taylor, 81, of Crystal River, Fl., died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at HPH Hospice, Inverness, Fl. A native of Princeton, W. Va., he was born December 17, 1929 to Abe and Lillian (Hammond) Taylor and moved to Citrus County nearly 23 years ago from Clearwater, Fl. During Mr. Taylor's working life, he enjoyed a career in the automotive industry which spanned 38 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Christian faith and loved to fish. Buddy is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, June Taylor of Crystal River, FL; son Fred M. Taylor and wife Peggy, Roswell, GA; daughter Pamela T. Cantley and husband Michael, Jasper, GA and sister Garnet Taylor, Ocala, FL. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
