

Shane Christopher Williams died unexpectedly early January 14, 2017. Shane was born on July 22, 1983 in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. He spent most of his childhood in Kissimmee, Florida before moving to Citrus County in 2004. He graduated from Poinciana High School in Kissimmee and attended Withlacoochee Technical School where he received his certification in HVAC. Shane could always be found working on his airboat or lending a helping hand to friends. He was a man of all trades, working on everything from air conditioning units, cars, boats to welding. He was starting his own business, Williams Iron Works, Inc. He was the proud father of two. To know Shane was to love him. He was the funny one, always making everyone smile. Described by family members as a mischievous jokester, always making everyone laugh. He had a kind heart and a loving soul. Shane loved to go air boating with friends. He enjoyed scalloping, fishing, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. Shane was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother, Anna Travis, Grandfather, Wilbur Vickery. He is survived by Annie Oeding, son Lukas, daughter, Alea, parents, David and Jennifer Williams, sister, Heather Phillips, brothers, Jesse & Dylan Williams of Inverness, Grandmother Carol Benson of St Petersburg, Grandmother Jean Vickery of St Cloud, FL, 3 nieces and a family full of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, all of which love him dearly. A celebration of life will be held at Wilder’s Funeral Home of Homosassa at 1:00pm, on Saturday, Jan.21st.
