Tammy L. McDonald

Tammy L. (Hinnant) McDonald, passed away on Feb. 1, 2022 surrounded by family. She attended Crystal River HS and was part of the class of 84. She went on to earn a degree in Accounting and was the Sr. Staff Accountant for Solomon Software, a division of Microsoft. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Patrick McDonald of Homosassa, a daughter, Tasha (Kyle) Steen of Crystal River, a son Chakotay McDonald of Homosassa, a son Bryan McDonald of Crystal River; 3 grandchildren: Amos-5, Lovinia-3, and Atlas-1, a nephew Daniel Hinnant, and niece Nicole Hinnant; 5 sisters: Carlene Ottenbaker of Homosassa; Sheila (Jay) Layson of Homosassa; Lisa (Todd) Rooks of Lecanto; Tricia (Kurt) Langenmayr of Crystal River; Amy (WS) Kellner of Pine Ridge; 2 sisters-in-law: Jo Martin and Melisa Kirkendall of Findlay, Ohio; 2 brothers-in-law Shawn Wagner of Ravenna, Ohio, and Shannon Wagner of Somerset, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her father, Marion “Marvin” Hinnant, mother Nina (Cobb) Hinnant; both grandparents on the Hinnant and Cobb side; father-in-law Clarence Wagner, mother-in-law Mary Wagner and brother-in-law Rick Martin, all of Findlay, Ohio. Mrs. McDonald was a member of Red Level Baptist Church in Red Level. She was a Life Member of the DAV. She enjoyed swimming in her pool and gardening. She was happiest at the beach with her family.
