Travis Justin Oliver, 31, of Jacksonville, Florida and formerly of Citrus County, Florida, passed away suddenly on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019. Travis was born February 28, 1988, the only child to Billy, Jr. and Sharon (Stevens) Oliver. He moved to Citrus County at an early age and attended Lecanto High School. Travis was employed by Handy Hands Painting and More, LLC of Jacksonville, Florida as a multi-talented construction worker, but his main passion was welding. Travis loved listening to music and was devoted to fitness and loved playing baseball when he was younger. He was a perfectionist and a generous man who would give the shirt off his back to those in need. Travis would always root for the underdog and always had anyone’s back. He will always be remembered and loved for his smile, his laugh, and his loyalty. Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his father, Billy Oliver, Jr. on May 21, 1998, and also by his grandparents. Travis is survived by his mother, Sharon S. Oliver and his stepfather, David Foellmi, both of Hernando, Florida; his girlfriend Stacy Usher of Homosassa, Florida; son Dakota Justin Kinsey (and his mother Melody Kinsey), both of Lawrenceburg,, Tennessee; son Ty of Crystal River, Florida; and uncles Kenny Stevens (wife Judy) of Homosassa, Florida and David Stevens (wife Ruthie) of Chassahowitzka, Florida. Friends will be received at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, Florida on Monday, Nov. 25, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., where a celebration of Travis’ life will take place at 7:00 P.M. with Mitch Robison of Pleasant Grove Road Church of Christ, Inverness, Florida officiating.
