

Allen Sui Lun Heau, 90, of Honolulu, born 10/06/1919 to Robert and Amoy Dang Heau in Kahului, died September 14, 2010 in Honolulu. Took residence in Kahala Nui Retirement Home in March of 2005, with wife Shizu. Loved sports, arts, music reading and home life. Retired in 1994 from financial business as broker and adviser. Veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated from St. Louis High School in 1939. He saw Pearl Harbor being bombed 12/07/1941. Member of the 522nd 3rd Engr. Const. Brig. during the invasion of Okinawa on April. 1, 1945. Met General D.D. Eisenhower, saluted, and shook hands with each other in April 1946 while he was visiting in Honolulu. Graduated from the University of Hawaii with B.A. in 1950. Survived by his wife, Shizu; sons, Gregory “Greg’ and Thomas; one grandchild, Stasi; brother, Ernest; sisters, Evelyn Young, Frances Lancaster and Marilyn Chun. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22nd at Star of the Sea Parish; eulogy 11:00 a.m.; mass 11:30 a.m.; burial Thursday, September 30th 11:00 a.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire. No flowers please. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Star of the Sea Parish or St. Louis High School Alumni Association.
