

He was a devoted botanist and horticulturist specializing in rare and exotic plants, which brought him to Hawaii for the last few months of his life. Christopher was a passionate public artist in the Bay Area. His memorial to the Ghost Ship victims continues to comfort many in the EastBay. Chris was an extremely sensitive and caring individual who spent most of his time serving his fellow Bay Area citizens. Christopher is being remembered for his generosity and dedication to improving the lives of all around him. His devotion to community members led him to actively participate in protests and harm reduction services at events. His achievements in this continues to make a true difference and will be his legacy.
He was born and raised in Petaluma and attended local schools. He went on to earna Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University.
Christopher is survived by his siblings Candace Marie Harker of Petaluma and Zachary Mark Edwards of Santa Rosa and his loving parents Mark Arron Edwards of Cotati and Susan Marie Perkins of Santa Rosa.
