

CONCHITA DATANAGAN “MANANG CONNIE” VILLARO, 82, of Ewa Beach, passed away November 20, 2011 in Ewa Beach. She was born October 4, 1929 in Honolulu and was the oldest daughter of Gregorio and Simeona Caminade Datanagan. She married John Villaro, Sr. on June 14, 1947; he preceded her in death. Conchita worked for United Foam and then Aloha State Transportation as a bus aide for the disabled children. She retired and often spent time with her grandkids and just enjoying working in the yard, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, and she always had to watch her Korean programs. She joined the Lanakila Senior Activity Program where she learned how to play the ukulele.
She is survived by two sons, Benjamin Villaro, Sr. and John (Josephine) Villaro, Jr.; three daughters, Dolly (Leslie, Sr.) Hutchins, Monalisa (Rodney A.) Cabiles and Margaret “Fudge” (DeeDee) Villaro; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lorenzo Datanagan and Victorino (Merna) Datanagan; two sisters, Mercedes (Inocencio) Efhan and Lourdes Corpuz.
Visitation 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Borthwick Mortuary-Mauka Chapel; Prayer service 11:30 a.m.; Committal service 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire is requested. At her request, the ashes of her beloved husband will be placed with her when she is laid to rest.
