She was born on January 18, 1965 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was previously employed with the State of Hawaii Department of Education. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, cooking and video entertainment.
A Private Memorial/Celebration of Life service will take place at a future date.
Diane is survived by husband, Kyle; sons; Kristopher A. and Dustin S. Hirabara; nephews, Damian K. and Tyson P. Akana; sister’s Catherine N. (Wayne) Iaea, Sandra P. (Christopher) Desmet, Allison (Roy) Loando, brother in laws Keven and Kenny Hirabara, Wayne Iaea, Christopher Desmet and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
She is predeceased by parents, Francis and Mercedes Akana; sister Teresa Akana.
