I know that your heart aches because of the loss of your soul-mate and that the house must seem like a lonely place these days.  But please remember that you have plenty of friends and 36 year of loving memories!  That is worth allot and hopefully will bring you joy.  
 
I think about Donn often.  I miss him and wish I could have been there during his final moments with us.  I can just picture him with a big smile on this face, laughing at us.  Laughing because we sit around wring our hands and talk about how much we miss him.  He laughs at us because he IS with us!  He is part of us because we were lucky enough to have him in our lives.  He's at peace now and he is happy.....with God.  Can you picture Donn, with a big "cat who ate the canary" grin on his face, in a white flowing gown and big white feathery wings???  That's how I see him.  He laughs as he grumbles about the sissy white gown and the fairy-white wings that he has to wear.  But, he is happy, he is at peace.....he has no more pain......and he continues to be among us......
 
I pray for you and his children all the time Judy.  I know that you miss Donn dearly, but I pray that you will continue to live a happy life and understand that you are fortunate to have had him for as long as you did.
