Dora was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu on January 17, 1923. She was an Administrator with the United States Army Reserve at Fort Shafter
She is survived by her sons,Kirk Piamonte and Gregory Piamonte; daughters, Valerie Saxton and Catherine Kosaki; sisters, Mary Dreith, Mady Zawadzki, Judy Pacarro and Lorraine Sun and 6 grandchildren.
Burial service at Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery on May 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
