

Evie joins her husband of over 60 years Leonard, her brothers Gabriel, Kenneth and Donald, and her sisters Katherine, Aileen and Lillian.
Evie was a proud alumna of Maryknoll School, Class of 1947. Shortly after graduation, she began over a 45 year career with US Army at Fort Shafter. Starting as a stenographer-clerk for the General Staff and ending as the Chief Deputy Protocol Officer. She was awarded numerous military/civilian awards and graced the local newspaper with her winning smile.
Evie then embarked on her most fulfilling and favorite journey, mentoring grandchildren. She never stopped loving, caring and giving Aloha to all of them. She always reminds them to try your best in whatever you do.
Survived by sister Gwen Chock, sister-in-law Connie Paresa, daughter Lenette (Steven), sons Leonard ‘Lon’ (Marie) and Dr. Kenith (Shannon), grandsons Matthew, Leonard ‘Trey’ (Deanna), Evan, AJ (Alexis), Makoa (Madison), Kai and granddaughter Malia, and great-granddaughter Kanoe Paresa. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation to be held at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Thursday August 8, 2024 starting at 9 am. Mass at 11 am. Private Burial.
