Gabriel Akiona, 83, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii passed away on July 21, 2016. He was a Construction General Superintendent who served in the Army and was born in Hana, Maui, Hawaii. Gabriel is survived by his wife Marie T. Akiona; sons Gabriel K., Bryant, Mark and Glenn Akiona; daughters Kathleen Perreira and Darleen Bali; hanai son Charles Vierra; brother, Lloyd Akiona; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral Service will be held on August 11, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary - Mauka Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am and Service at 12:30 pm. Military Honors to follow at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at 3:00 pm
