He was born in Honolulu.
He is survived by his brother, Wayne Kahele; sisters, Lillian “Tiny” Barrett and Betty Casperson; hanai son, Jay Barrett; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass 10:00 a.m. Saturday (7/30) at LDS-Lanikila Ward;
Burial 12:00 p.m. at Laie Cemetery.
