Born on September 19,1944, in Honolulu, he was the son of Jean F. Rasor of Oregon and Ruby Mae Aona of Honolulu. He attended Kamehameha Schools and graduated from Kalani High School. After being drafted, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war. He is survived by wife, Kathy Rasor; children Ian, Joshua, Jeremy, Jean-Marc, Jaimee; sisters Janet, Kerri, Melody, Candy; brothers Kevin, Gregg; Grandchildren Noah, Nalu, Ruby, Iwalani, and Leia. Jean enjoyed Hawaiian studies, history, and genealogy. He also practiced Hawaiian Lua and Karate. He was employed at Hawaiian Airlines for 42 years until retirement.
A celebration of life will be held at Kawaiahaʻo Church June 17, at 11:00 am. Reception to follow. Private
inurnment at Punchbowl at a future date.
