

John Clarence Eppling was born on June 19, 1945 in Pembroke Kentucky. His parents were Lillian Marie Eppling McLeod and Clarence Eppling. He had three siblings - younger brother Okey and younger sisters Pamela and Deborah .
John grew up in Ohio and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 to 1969. He graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado in 1974. He worked in Hawaii at Longs Drugs until 1992, then worked in sales until his retirement in 2015.
John and his wife Jacqueline were married for 48 years. They raised two daughters, Natalie and Melissa. John will always be remembered for his humor and loving smile. He was a caring person who embraced the people around him and went out of his way to be friendly. He is greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
John was predeceased by his parents Lillian Marie Eppling McLeod and Clarence Eppling as well as his brother Okey Eppling. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Eppling; daughters Natalie (Danny) Chaung and Melissa (Chris) Galindo; grandchildren Zachary and Lily Chaung and Maya Rey Galindo; and sisters Pamela (Gregory) Kelly and Deborah Eppling Harrell.
