Lillian Siu Kin Wong Mori, 98, died Monday, January 17, 2014. She was pre-deceased by her parents Wong Tong How and Quan Shee and her husband Kiyoshi “Karl” Mori. She is survived by sister Rose Siu Yung Chong, in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was especially close to Jerry, Dana and Wesley Chong and their families.
Aunty Mori was warm, kind and truly concerned for others, thoughtful and friendly. She loved to cook and bake for friends and family. She was very generous in sharing with everyone including neighbors and acquaintances. She often caught the St. Louis Heights bus and made many friends riding to and from Chinatown and even around the island.
Aunty Mori will be missed but she will happily join Uncle after a very long and happy life.
Visitation will be on February 15, 2014 at 3:30 p.m.; Services at 4:30 p.m. at Borthwick Mortuary on Maunakea St., Honolulu.
