Loreto "Larry" "Itoy" Idica Sarte of Sinait, Ilocos Sur joined his mother, Josefa Sarte, in heaven on August 12, 2014. He is now singing with a choir of angels, cruising the Downtown Las Vegas strip in his 1991 Ford Bronco with his all-time favorite, Elvis Presley.
He moved to Hawaii in the 1960's, briefly worked as a taxi driver and as a painter with Hirota Painting Company from 1978-1995. He is survived by his father, Hermas Sarte, the mother of his children, Violeta Sarte. Loving father of Christopher, Leizl (Max), Marilyn (Rico), and Melanie (James), and 10 grandchildren, Jon (Annika), Marcus, Zoey, Kyson, Darien, Noelani, Jaden, James, Kaya and Johnny.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 30th, public viewing, mass 4:30 - 8:30 pm. Borthwick Mortuary, 1330 Maunakea St, Honolulu, HI 96817. Casual attire.
