The biggest sweetheart ever! I remember her hiring a private jet to pick up stranded dog...an amazing woman!

Gina I still think of you every day and loved you very much.  I will see you again when my time comes. Rest in peace my beautiful  Gina.

Gina I will always remember you as the good hearted person you were. I was only 17 and in the Marines, I talked to you often and you were beautiful and a wonderful friend to a very lonely homesick Marine.  You showed me the beautiful island of Oahu and were kind enough to pick me up at Camp Smith to travel the island.  You have always been in my heart since 1965, I'm sorry I didn't write you in Vietnam but I lost your address.  Rest in peace Princess,  and you are with God and the Angel's now. I hope I make it there to see you again and your beautiful smile. 

You continue to be an inspiration, a vital presence, and a member of the Church Triumphant.
You are closer now to all whom you cared for in your mortal life, without geographical restriction, and in your new, perfect incarnation.  You bless all those whom you knew

Gina, I just had some terrible feeling that I should check on you today and I find that you have gone to heaven last week. I will always remember the wonderful times you and Patty and we all had together. Now I look forward to seeing you again in Hana. You had a heart of gold . I shall miss you so much. Dear Gina,
It is VERY HARD to imagine that I will never be talking with you again. I have your voice messages on my answering machine: the upbeat, happy ones and the stressed ones from the time you were calling my land line in California instead of my mobile number while Penny and I were visiting in Oahu. You were always so loving and generous with your time and wit -- so dear and thoughtful. Well, that is you now: dear, loving spirit...perhaps more aware than ever how much you are loved and by so many people. I don't think I can bear hearing you stressed so those messages will be deleted. But I am going to save the others I kept because it is so painful to let go and because your voice has always cheered me.
Yes...this is about me missing you and the reason I will continue to miss your presence in the world. So, you shall certainly be remembered with love and gratitude for as long as I live. My one consolation and hope is that Jim met you when you crossed over.

Our dearest Gina...
Our hearts are hurting so...never thought we wouldn't see you again on our next visit to Hawai'i.  We will miss all the phone conversations, visits to your lovely home, seeing the kitties...talking about animals, sharing memories about Jim...you were always so kind and generous and funny.  Saying "I hate it!" when we like something (with a Gina inflection of course) is now a droll tradition.  We love you, we miss you, despite all your sufferings you were always positive and we thought you would live forever.  May health and happiness greet you in the Undying Lands...and your dear Kea.  We sent a brooch with a white Persian's likeness on it for Christmas...it was heartbreaking to realize you were gone before it arrived.  A terrible year for us, dear Princess, but may it be the start of a beautiful Eternal Life for you, Your loving friends, Mindi and Diana
