Rinsei “Jack” Shimabukuro, 97, of Palolo, passed away on November 28, 2011 at Kuakini Medical Center. He was a retired Irrigation Superintendent at Waialae Country Club. He is survived by beloved wife, Hazel; son Allen (Van); daughters, Jean (Ronald) Takase, Ethyleen (Russell) Lewis; brothers, Dean Shimabukuro and Takeo Shimabukuro; sisters, Sadako Matsukawa, Helen Tatsumi, Betty Monguchi and Violet Okada; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 5 p.m. December 29, 2011 at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel. Services: 6 p.m.
