Robert Henry Dale 94 died January 14, 2026, at home. Robert was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon. His early days as a youngster were spent in Oakridge, Oregon till his family moved to Eugene, Oregon. He was a Korean War veteran who stationed in Gifu, Japan. After his discharge from the U. S. Army, he attended the University of Oregon where he earned a B.S in Geology, then a MA in Geology. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Hawaii in Geophysics specializing in Hydrology. Robert worked for the U.S. Geological Service, Tetra Tech International, the Sultanate of Oman holding. In 1985 he founded KD2 Water Resource Engineers and became it’s president.
He is survived by his wife Sharie Dale, sons Dana Dale (Gayle), Derrick Dale, Kevin Dale (Carol), stepdaughter Chris Lopes (David), and stepsons Richard Townsend (Jennifer), David Townsend (Owen), three grandchildren
Nicole, Connor and Rye, his brother Virgil Hebert (Vicki), nieces and nephews.
