Robert Roy Mercado, Sr., 77, of Waipahu, a Police Office and Sargeant, passed away on June 15, 2016 at Ka Punawai Ola Hospice. He served in the Army. Mr. Mercado is survived by his wife, Carmen O. Mercado; sons, Robert Jr., Dean, and Matthew; daughter, Angela Laborde; step-sons, John Fry, Ben Ganal, and David Paco; step-daughter, Cheryl Jones and Debra Alexander; brother, Clifford D. Mercado; sister, Joyce Mercado Woodd; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on July 10, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary - Maunakea Chapel. Visitation will be at 4:00pm and service will begin at 5:00pm. Inurnment at a later date.
