Samuel "Cugie" Everett Barrett, Sr., 70, of Makakilo, Hawaii, passed away on January 9, 2014. He was a plumber and is survived by children, Lisa Marie Barrett, Samuel E. Barrett, Jr., Michelle Barrett Yamato, Ali'i Barrett, Koa Barrett, Chibi Yamada; brothers, Ernest "Oboy" Barrett, Lionel Barrett; sisters, Patricia "Ulu" McNeil and Kaui Mamaril; 9 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren.
Wake services will be held at Borthwick Mortuary - Maunakea-Vineyard Chapel, located at 1330 Maunakea Street, Honolulu, HI on January 23, 2014. Visitation will be at 5:00pm and wake services will begin at 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Borthwick Mortuary - Maunakea Chapel, located at 1330 Maunakea Street, Honolulu, HI on January 24, 2014. Visitation will be at 9:00am and funeral service time will be at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples at 12:00pm.
