SHARON MAE COMPTON, 63, of Honolulu, passed away May 17, 2012 surrounded by her beloved son and hanai family. She was born in Kentucky and was a much loved teacher’s assistant at Kawaiaha’o Church School. She is predeceased by her son Todd Brown and mother Cora Compton.
She is survived by son, Bradley S. (Linda) Brown of Pennsylvania; father, Lee Compton of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Victoria Powell of Florida, Brianna Brown, Arlette Brown, Zachary Brown and Elijah Bailey all of Pennsylvania; great-grandson, Travaun Powell of Florida; and her hanai family worldwide.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Keehi Lagoon Memorial Park’s Disabled American Veterans Hall (2685 N. Nimitz Highway, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819).
